The teachers of tomorrow are celebrating after graduating from the University of Winchester.

The ceremonies take place over several days from Tuesday, November 14 to Friday, November 17, split into the different faculties

On Friday, November 17 it was the turn of the faculty of education and the arts. In the first ceremony, at 10am, saw undergraduates in primary education and postgraduates in special educational needs receive their honours.

In the 12.30pm ceremony, it was the turn of PGCE graduates. 

Donna Adams, who collected her PGCE, said: “It feels amazing, it's finally done! I'm now teaching a year one class in Shrewton.”

Fellow PGCE graduate Summer Waterhouse said: “I'm getting my PGCE today. It's quite exciting, it's lovely to have a day off, but I do miss my kids.”
