A WINCHESTER man has pleaded guilty to causing a serious injury by careless driving.
Jonathan Hines, of Tower Street, was charged with causing an injury to Rachel Chapleo when driving a Hyundai IX20 on the A35, Holmsley, in the New Forest.
Hines, 43, pleaded guilty at West Hampshire Magistrates Court on Thursday, October 5.
The incident happened on Wednesday, June 14, the court was told.
Hines was remanded on unconditional bail, and will next appear at the same court on Thursday, November 30.
