Peter Symonds College ace Joe Marchant scored his fifth try of the RBS Under-20 Six Nations Championship to give England a 19-14 victory over Ireland in Donnybrook last night, FRI.

The sides were drawing 14-all when, with ten minutes left on the clock, 18-year old Harlequins prospect stepped inside his man to score England’s winning unconverted try, writes Mike Vimpany.

Winchester-based Marchant was England’s hat-trick hero in the win over Italy a fortnight ago.

Gloucester’s former Gosport & Fareham back row Joe Bartley, now studying at Hartpury College, made his full England debut after two appearances on the substitute’s bench
