Next month, local choirs Encore and ShowChoir will perform an afternoon of diverse music at the Theatre Royal Winchester.
The highly-anticipated performance on Sunday May 19 at 5pm promises a myriad of tunes catering to all, from pop to classical.
Encore Choirs, a vibrant community group, together with ShowChoir, a University of Winchester ensemble, aim to provide a thrilling, memorable experience for the audience.
The university’s ShowChoir is co-led by enthusiastic students learning the complexities of directing and administrating a choir.
Vocal coach Josh Robinson said: "The choirs are in full rehearsal mode for what will be our biggest and most exciting performance yet.” Says Josh who has been leading Encore Choirs for a number of years since he set them up. Performing in the Theatre Royal is a dream come true for us. We’re going to put on a truly inspiring show and make a really special event."
The concert, which has been described as a must-see, has tickets rapidly selling out on the Theatre Royal's website. Guests are urged to secure their ticket promptly to ensure they don’t miss out on the performance.
