Several roads will be closed in Winchester’s city centre this weekend.
The closures are so the St George’s Day Scout parade can take place, with signs next to the notices asking motorists to “use alternative routes”.
Colebrook Street, The Broadway, and Market Street will be closed between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Sunday, April 21, St George’s Day.

Meanwhile, Winchester High Street will also be closed between those times between the junction with The Broadway and Market Street.
The roads will be closed to all vehicles except those connected to the parade.
The parade will see swathes of children march through the city, starting at the Colebrook Street car park before walking around the statue of King Alfred, walking up the Highstreet and then making their way to Winchester Cathedral.
More information about the road closures can be found on the Winchester City Council website.
