WINCHESTER Cathedral welcomed girls from across the area to a special Be a Chorister event.
Taking place on Saturday, February 24, 20 girls in Years 5, 6 and 7 attended the event at the cathedral.

They were joined by current choristers for vocal games and cake, before joining with the Cathedral Choir to sing at Evensong.
Auditions to become a girl chorister will be held on Sunday, March 23.
Anyone with a daughter who is currently in year 6 or 7 and interested in auditioning should contact Sara Wilson-King, the cathedral choral foundation administrator, via choirs@winchester-cathedral.org.uk.
