A ROMSEY farmer has been fined for speeding in Cornwall.
Philip Moore, of Sandy Lane, was caught driving a Toyota Land Cruiser on the A30 Dunheved Bridge at speeds exceeding 70mph on March 4.
Moore, 54, appeared before Southampton Magistrates Court on November 27, where he pleaded guilty to the offence.
He was fined £128 and must also pay a £51 surcharge and costs of £85. The total amount of £264 must be paid by December 28.
Three points were also added to his licence. Moore did not receive a totting disqualification, due to mitigating concerns that hardship could be caused to his livestock as he would not be available all hours of the day.
