A MAN has pleaded not guilty to fraud after advertising Queen Elizabeth's walking stick for sale on Ebay.

Dru Marshall, 25, denied one charge of fraud by false representation at Southampton Magistrates' Court today.

He is accused of putting the late Queen's walking stick up for auction on September 16 last year.

He is also alleged to have claimed he was a serving royal footman.

The value of the stick was said to be £500.

Marshall, of Clarendon Close, Romsey, only spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and address.

He appeared in court at the beginning of last month but the case was adjourned.

He has now been granted unconditional bail to next appear at the same court on October 23 at 10am for his trial.
