A HAMPSHIRE school’s journey into the underworld wowed judges at a regional dance championships.
Halterworth Community Primary School performance ‘Into the Woods…and beyond’ saw them take spot for the second year running in the Southern Rock Challenge.
The Romsey school pupils mesmerized the audience and judges in last night’s regional finals at the Portsmouth Guildhall with their stylish retelling of Orpheus’s battle to save Eurydice from the underworld.
In second place were Solent Junior School from Portsmouth with ‘The Giving Tree” and Wellow Primary took third with ‘Magical Mayhem!’ – story in which toys come to life.
